Take A458 from Welshpool to the roundabout at Mallwyd. Take A470 towards Dinas Mawddwy. Proceed for 1.5 miles. Turn right, down to the village of Dinas Mawddwy. By the Red Lion (Llew Coch)turn right towards Llanymawddwy. Drive for approx 1 mile through small hamlet of Abercywarch.
For Ty'n y Ffordd drive for approx three quarters of a mile from Abercywarch. The whitewashed cottage is the third on the left, with name on the door.
For Yr Efail drive for approx 1 mile from Abercywarch. The cottage is the fourth on the left, with name on the tree.
